The Campbelltown Eagles played Cabramatta at New Era Stadium at Cabramatta, The Eagles started with poor possession in their first 2 sets and Cabramatta capitalised with a try to Matt Lamb 5 minutes into the game and the kick form Andrew Dallalana waved away for Cabra to go 4-0 up, the next 10 minutes was tight from both teams with good defence but it was the Eagles that cracked the drought through a try to Tim Soama at the 17th minute mark, Levi Dodd converted for the Eagles to hit the lead...read more

Group 6 1st Grade East Campbelltown Eagles 34 def Campbelltown City 30 - 24 May 2010

Campbelltown Stadium was the venue for the local derby but a disappointing crowed was in attendance for what was going to be a great game. Campbelltown City posted first 2 tries but the conversion was unsuccessful, the Eagles hit back through a fantastic backline movement that seen Eagles flyer Craig Moustakas raced 40 meters to score out wide for city to lead 8- 4 the Eagles hit back again through a great placed kick from Brad Hopkins that seen Moustakas bag his second for the day and Sakeasi Rokatabini converted for the Eagles to hit the lead 10-8, the boys got restles and when Jacob Bubba Morgan went toe to toe with Adam Doyle it seen both players get 10 minutes in the bin...read more

Bundaberg Red Cup, The Entrance Tigers 50 def Campbelltown Eagles 18

The Campbelltown Eagles played The Entrance Tigers and it was to be the first home game that the Eagles played at Waminda Oval, With the new seating only weeks away from completion the Eagles played in front of one of the biggest crowds since their inclusion in the Jim Beam/Bundaberg Red Cup. The game had everything right from the start and the fact that the winner of this game would also be leading the competition led to a high intensity game. The Eagles posted first points when winger Levi Dodd had a bit of room that seen him score in the corner, Levi missed converting his try for the Eagles to led 4-0, The Entrance levelled up 8 minutes later and when young East Campbelltown Eagles Junior Amano Tovio received an inside ball from Dunley, Tovio scored under the posts, Levi converted to go 10-4 Eagles way. Another Eagles Junior and contacted West’s Tigers player Dayne Craig barged his way over the line for the Eagles to hit a handy led 14-4. The Campbelltown Eagles entered 3 teams in the Cabramatta International Nine A-Side tournament. sides from Somoa, Tonga, Fiji, Japan and a Australian Abouriginal team competed in the competition. The Campbelltown Eagles displaying there new young talented signings in Wayde Dunley, Pat Franks, Allan Soultan, Ben Baker while last years stars Samuel Hoare and Amaono Tovio have returned to a very strong Campbelltown outfit. The Eagles played good competition to make the grand final, defeating Sydney Bulls and Wentworthville Premier League, they match up against Cabramatta to win the Plate Grand Final...more
