The Campbelltown Eagles played last year's Premiers Windsor Wolves at Windsor Sports Complex Saturday. The Eagles started on fire running in 3 quick tries to go to a handy 18 nil led, Windsor hit back with 3 tries to go into half time with Campbelltown leading 18-16 . The second half seen the Eagles step up the tempo and with some very entertaining football, started dominating the game running in 5 tries in the second half. The Eagles running out winners 48-22. East Campbelltown junior Amano Tovio that also played for Ingleburn A Grade in the past couple of season was outstanding scoring 3 tries and a Man of the Match effort. Levi Freemen also running in 3 tries, and a try each to Todd Liubinskas and Samuel Hoare, with Stephen Harding kicking 8 from 8
Combined Competition, A Grade East Campbelltown Eagles 36 def Moss Vale 22
East Campbelltown Eagles Travelled down to Moss Vale and from the start scored a try in the opening minutes to Jacob Morgan, Moss Vale hit back with 2 tries before centre Joe Ioane score again for the Eagles, the Eagles then ran in tries to Chris Standing, Jacob Morgan and Joe Ioane scored their double and the Jason Turl scored the try of the day right on half time for the Eagles to have a commanding led 32-12, The second half seen Moss Vale put up a fight and was rewarded with 2 tries but the game was over when Vili Vai scored in the corner, John Da-Silva kicked 4 from 7 for the Eagles to run out winners 36-22
Women's A Grade East Campbelltown Eagles 40 def Newtown Jetets 4
The East Campbelltown Eagles Women's team kept their undefeated run going with an impressive 40-4 victory against Newtown Jetets, played at Historic Henson Park
Combined Competition, Res Grade Moss Vale 20 def East Campbelltown Eagles 16
East Campbelltown Res grade were unlucky, but have let another close game slip away, leading the whole game they went down to Moss Vale in the dying minutes to lose 20-16
