Bundy Red Cup Campbelltown Eagles 32 def Western Reds 31 29 June 2009

The Campbelltown Eagles Bundaberg Red Cup team travelled to Perth Western Australia to play the Western Reds, The travelling must of taken it's toll on the Eagles and found them selves down 24 nil before they started to fight back tries to Samuel Hoare and Joe Ioane and a conversion by Dayne Craig before half time seen the Eagles go into half time behind 24-10.

Coach Scott Davey didn't hold back at half time telling them what he thought and it rallied the troops for the fight back to begin. Scott Laurie, brother of Tigers player Dayne Laurie scored for the Eagles and Dayne Craig converted to bring it back 24-16 another try to Samuel Hoare and coverted by Dayne Craig has made for it a graet final 15 minutes to the game. A penalty goal to the Eagles in front seen Dayne Craig convert and scores level.

A Eagles error looked like it was going to cost them the game when the Reds scored shortly after, but it was a field goal to the Reds with 8 minutes remaining sealed a 7 point lead 31-24, with 6 minutes to go the Eagles scored out wide through Amano Tovio and the Eagles had a slight chance, 1 minute left on the clock Man of the match Todd Liubinakas scored for the Eagles in an amazing victory.

The team returns to Sydney monday estatic over the last minute victory that they have seen taken from them so many times in the past weeks.

In group 6 A Grade/Reserve Grade Rugby League,seen the game deffered due to the weather and the Eagles not having, or finding a ground suitable to play A Grade Rugby League in the Campbelltown area
