The Campbelltown Eagles travelled to Mountie's and put in a great effort even though they went down 18-8, the game was in the balance until Mountie's secured the win with a try 4 minutes to go.
Try scorer for the Eagles was Stephen Harding and he also converted his try and kicked a penalty goal. Best Players for the Eagles were Duan Poneski, Allan Soultan, Albert Hopoate and young Dayne Craig.

The Eagles came up against a spirited Mittagong side that threw everything at the Eagles, The Eagles scored early to John Da-Silva but Mittagong hit back shortly after to go to the break at 4 all, the Eagles scored first after the break when William Ahokava scored out wide and converted, Mittagong replied shortly after and when they converted it looked like an upset was on the cards at 10-10. Some inspiration from the side lines seen the Eagles fire up to score again to Pele Leuluai to take the led 14-10, the Eagles put the game away with 10 minutes to go when big Fredrick Tevega scored under the post and William Ahokava converted for the Eagles to win 20-10, Best for the Eagles were Ben Janskowski, Pele Leuluai and under 18 player Gene Murphy that was great for the Eagles

The Eagles withheld an early onslaught that seen Mittagong post first points, after that it was all one way traffic, Best for the Eagles were Adrian Harrison, Mark Douglas and Roland Gloss.
Under 18's, East Campbelltown Eagles 48 def Mittagong Lions 4
The young Eagles dominated the game with an easy win against Mittagong, the Eagles had a couple of bad injuries in the game that left 1 player needing an ambulance for rib cartilage damage.
The Bundaberg Red Cup side Campbelltown Eagles will play Bankstown Bulls this Saturday 6th June at Campbelltown Stadium 3.45pm kick off. Premier league between West's Magpies and Bankstown Bulls will kick off at 2pm
